Business overview

Gcore sells cloud, edge, network and security infrastructure as separate products that share one network and one control panel. On the cloud side that means virtual machines and bare metal, managed Kubernetes, containers, function-as-a-service, S3-compatible object storage, file shares and managed PostgreSQL; on the network side a CDN, authoritative and public DNS, a streaming platform and serverless edge compute; and for protection, DDoS mitigation, WAF/WAAP, bot management and API security. GPU cloud and serverless inference are sold for AI training and real-time workloads.

The network spans more than 210 points of presence on six continents and 50+ cloud locations, with 14,000+ peering partners, 120+ connected internet exchange points and over 200 Tbps of total capacity. Gcore quotes an average response time of 30 ms worldwide and free egress traffic on cloud services, and everything can be driven through the API, Terraform or the control panel. A published case study covers Higgsfield AI, which runs GPU workloads on H100 nodes inside a managed Kubernetes cluster that autoscales with demand, after a one-week trial.

Gcore was founded in Luxembourg in 2014 and is still headquartered there, in Contern, with offices in Vilnius, Krakow, Belgrade, Nicosia, Tbilisi, Tashkent and Seoul, and more than 600 staff. It owns its infrastructure, including a Luxembourg data centre, and describes itself as an international provider of public cloud and edge computing, content delivery, hosting and security. Its own history records first CDN and hosting products in 2016, DDoS protection and object storage in 2017, the streaming platform in 2018, and its cloud plus coverage of every continent except Antarctica in 2019.
