Business overview

Stackfield is a collaboration platform that organises work into rooms: a room holds a group chat, tasks and projects, files, a text editor and whiteboards, so conversation and planning sit together rather than in separate tools. Tasks can be viewed as a list, a Kanban board or a Gantt chart, with subtasks, dependencies, milestones, workflows and time tracking, and projects add portfolio views and budget planning. Conferencing, screen sharing, polls and calendar appointments are built in, and outside people can join as guests limited to a single room.

Security is the platform's central claim. In encrypted rooms, messages, task titles and descriptions, subtask text, file contents and comments, and user-defined text, number and text-box fields are encrypted end to end with AES-256 and RSA-2048, with encryption and decryption done in the browser, so the provider states it cannot read the data. Processing happens only on EU servers and storage in German data centres; the company says it uses no AWS, Google Cloud or Azure and no subcontractors controllable from outside the EU. It holds BSI C5 attestation and ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 certifications, supports enforced two-factor authentication with Yubikey, IP whitelists and SSO, and says it is ready for DORA, NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act. The site says over 10,000 companies have used it since 2012.

Stackfield GmbH sits at Maximiliansplatz 17 in Munich and is registered at the local court of Munich, with Cristian Mudure named as managing director. Plans are published per user and month — Starter €9, Business €14, Premium €18, Enterprise €28 — with a 14-day all-features trial and OFFICE and AI add-ons. The service is proprietary and vendor-hosted, reached through the provider's web, mobile and desktop apps.
