Teamleader

Teamleader is a cloud platform that runs the commercial side of a small business in one place: a CRM for customer details and communication, quotations that customers sign online, time tracking, project management, expense handling, and outgoing and incoming invoicing. It is aimed at entrepreneurs and their teams rather than enterprise departments, and is sold as packages that combine those modules with optional add-ons.

The product line has four parts: Focus for entrepreneurs and small teams, Orbit for agencies with more than 20 employees, One for e-invoicing by the self-employed and small private companies in Belgium, and Dexxter for automated bookkeeping for Belgian sole proprietors. Focus is priced per user in three tiers, SMART, GROW and FLOW, from around 37 EUR per user per month, with Boosters adding project management, planning, lead capture, work orders, a shared inbox, advanced insights and an accounting connector, after a 14-day trial. Invoices are sent and received over the Peppol e-invoicing network, including UBL documents, self-billed invoices and automatic payment reminders, and expenses are read automatically from scanned documents. It links to Gmail, Google Calendar and accounting software, has iOS and Android apps, supports Single Sign-On through Google, Apple and Microsoft plus compulsory multi-factor authentication, and an AI support agent outside office hours. The site reports 34,000 clients.

Teamleader is headquartered in Ghent, Belgium, and operates across Europe, with core markets in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany and a further presence in France, Spain and Italy. It is proprietary, vendor-hosted software; the company states that it complies with GDPR and sets out its security measures in the annex to its data processing agreement.
