Business overview

Rows is a browser spreadsheet where live data connections sit in ordinary cells rather than in a separate pipeline. Instead of pasting a CSV export, you connect a cloud service, have the data land in a spreadsheet table, and refresh it on a schedule. The product now leads with an AI analyst: it extracts data from PDFs and images, imports business data, and answers questions asked in plain language so reports and models are built by describing them instead of writing SQL or formulas.

Its integrations cover marketing, analytics, CRM, fintech and database tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Python and plain HTTP APIs, and Rows says live data from 50+ sources can be combined in one view. Data tables can refresh daily on Plus or every minute on Pro, while the free plan refreshes manually and is capped at 500 cell-enrichment tasks a month; paid plans include 1 million tasks a month. File imports run to 5 MB on the free plan against 100 MB on paid ones, the RowsX extension pulls tables off websites, and work can be shared, embedded or automated through the Rows API. Plans are Free, Plus at $6 per user per month billed annually, and Pro at $59 a month plus $6 per user.

Rows was founded in 2016 and has about 50 people across offices in Porto and Berlin; the company frames its goal as helping spreadsheet users build tools without learning to code. A notice on the site states that Rows has joined Superhuman, with support moving to [email protected]. The product itself is a proprietary hosted service rather than something you install or run on your own servers.

Value proposition

Data can be pulled straight from the tools you already use, refreshed on a schedule down to every minute, and queried in plain language, so reporting stops depending on CSV exports and hand-built formulas.
