weclapp

weclapp is a vendor-hosted ERP platform that runs CRM, merchandise and warehouse management, accounting and invoicing, and project management as modules of one system. It was written for the cloud rather than moved there from an on-premise product, and the modules share a single central database, so customers, quotes, orders, items and invoices are kept in one place instead of being synchronised between separate tools. The front end was rebuilt on a new technology stack presented in 2024, and the platform is sold on subscription with an entry-level licence aimed at small businesses that need to issue e-invoices.

Functionally the product covers sales and CRM, warehouse logistics and order picking, accounting with banking interfaces, and resource planning for projects, plus a web-based point-of-sale application for retail. Connections exist for payment service providers, marketplaces, online shops and shipping carriers; an Amazon interface arrived in 2017 and Shopware shops are among the documented integrations. The vendor names Superstreusel GmbH, PROVIDA ORGANICS and Better be Bold GmbH among customers using it for inventory, B2C order processing and cost reduction.

weclapp was founded in 2008 as a subsidiary of the listed 3U Holding and reached the market in 2013 after five years of development. Since October 2022 it has belonged to Exact, and it forms the weclapp group together with Karlsruhe-based ITscope. The company is based in Germany, with offices in Giessen and Kitzingen, and states that customer data stays in Germany in a multi-certified Frankfurt data centre. It reported more than 170 employees at the end of 2023.
