Storage is sold either as a subscription or as a one-off lifetime plan — Premium 500 GB at $219, Premium Plus 2 TB at $499 and Ultra 10 TB at $1,499, with pDocs included on the top tier — and prices are listed as final, with no setup fees. An encryption layer is sold alongside storage and described as client-side: files are encrypted before they leave the device.

pCloud presents itself as a Swiss-based provider following Swiss data-protection rules, with no tracking and no third-party access to stored files. It is a closed, hosted service — no self-hosted edition and no published source — so the location of the data depends on the company's own certified data centres.
