Qonto provides business accounts and finance management to European small companies. The core is an online account with SEPA and international transfers, Mastercard debit and credit cards, invoicing and bookkeeping exports, run by an approved payment institution rather than a branch network, with customer funds held in France.

Qonto reports 600,000 business customers across eight European markets and says it has helped 250,000 entrepreneurs create their companies. Card limits reach EUR 200,000 a month, with virtual cards and Apple Pay or Google Pay; invoicing carries embedded payment links, and Tap to Pay and POS terminals cover getting paid on site. A credit suite for working capital sits in the same account, balances can earn up to 5%, and Qonto is certified as an approved platform for e-invoicing. More than 2,000 external tools and accounts connect to it, and Qonto AI drafts invoices, quotes and supplier-invoice imports for a human to review, driven by agents inside Qonto or an MCP connector for outside AI tools. Company formation covers SAS, SASU, SARL, EURL, SCI and micro-enterprises, advertised at 24 hours, with 24/7 human support by chat, email and phone.

Qonto was founded in France in 2017 by Alexandre Prot and Steve Anavi and is headquartered in Paris. It acquired Penta to expand beyond France, employs around 1,700 people, and operates as an approved payment institution with customer funds 100% guaranteed and held in France. The company reports a Net Promoter Score above 70 and a 4.8 rating on Trustpilot.
